Shimano Lucanus Jigs have an aerodynamic head design that lets the jig sink fast to the bottom and stabilize quickly when it is retrieved. A dual attaching eye-loop design allows the jig to be used with an additional sinker tied to the lower eye for fast current conditions. Glow eyeball for better visibility in deep water. How to use the Shimano Lucanus jig...

The “Shimano Lucanus System” technique is extremely simple. Allow the Lucanus Jig to fall to the bottom, and then start a super slow retrieve, as you feel small bites, you just continue the super slow retrieve, and the fish will set themselves onto the hook. If you don’t get a hit by the time you are about 30 feet off the bottom, drop the jig back down and start over.
