A great rod on the deeper flats for permit, barracuda and small tarpon. It has all the power you need to manhandle big redfish, big sea trout, even large permit. The tip will land a small pinfish or shrimp as delicately as you need to and still has enough power to handle a small shark or cobia. Surface lures will sail a mile with this one and you can fish it every inch of the way back to the boat with total control and confidence.
