This is our most popular warmwater spinning rod. It boasts a fast action and a strong tip, giving you plenty of versatility for fishing a variety of lures and live baits. Best paired with 10 pound line, this is an excellent choice for fishing Long A's or Rapalas, as well as 1/4 ounce lead heads for swimming salt grubs. It's also a good rod for 4 inch "Texas style" worm rigs or tube jigs. There's plenty of power to set the hook, and it handles big fish extremely well, yet it's light enough to enjoy smaller size fish, no problem. We designed the 721 specifically to fish lightweight jigs, grubs and minnow type hard baits. This model is perfectly balanced for 8 pound line and 1/4 ounce lures, but it's versatile enough to go up or down a line and still feel good. If you fish a Pop R or similar surface lure on spinning gear, the 721 is a good choice. It has a soft enough tip to cast lightweight minnow baits, yet enough authority to handle oversized surprises. Excellent for small spinnerbaits that are too light for a baitcasting outfit.

This rod incorporates an ultra light tip and a strong butt section, making it a very good choice for spotted bass especially where smaller lures and lighter line make a difference. Perfectly balanced for 1/8 ounce grubs and jigs with 6 pound line, this rod is better for swimming jigs than bouncing them on the bottom. The tip is soft enough to fish 4 pound line and really light baits, like tube jigs and crappie jigs, even when you downsize to 1/64 ounce.
