The Super Strike Bullet is a stubby needlefish that casts like (the name implies) a bullet. The Super Strike Bullet has a short and wider profile than the traditional needlefish lure. The Super Strike Bullet is a great catching long casting lures that can be fished fast or slow, on top or swam/jigged at any depth. The heavy weight version is great for big water conditions: heavy sweep, big swell, high winds. It can be used any time of the year, but stands out lure when baits like mullet, baby bunker, butterfish and snappers are present. The Bullet is a lure especially helpful in punching through ahead wind. It's great at getting out there and reaching where the fish are.
The Super Strike Bullet is available in a standard and a heavy version. The Super Strike Bullet (BT4W) is a slow sinking lure that is 4-9/16" long and weighs 1-5/8oz. It comes with 2/0 treble hooks and has a 330lb test belly swivel. The Super Strike Heavy Bullet (BT4HW) is as inking lure that is the same body but it weighs 2-1/2oz. It comes with a 2/0 belly treble and a 5/0 siwash tail hook and it has a 330lb belly swivel. Some anglers like to rig the Super Strike Bullet with a hackle feather dressed single siwash in the rear rather than the treble. Some also take off the belly treble hook for the utmost casting distance. Those anglers usually add a split ring or even two in the back so the single hook can hinge and lay flat against the bullet for the ultimate aerodynamics.
