Flourocarbon Fishing Line

Fluorocarbon is a great choice to use as a top shot or leader when fishing.

Fluorocarbon is nearly invisible in water, because it is the same refractive index as water. The ultra low visibility helps fool super spooky fish even in gin clear conditions.

Fluorocarbon line is more dense than traditional nylon monofilament line. It is harder and more abrasion resistance than traditional nylon mono line. This is a huge advantage when fishing around rocky areas. Because it is harder, fluoro has less stretch (than nylon mono of the same diameter) therefore it offers an angler better sensitivity. One other characteristic that is unique to fluoro (due to its density) is that it sinks naturally and doesn't absorb water. Fluorocarbon line is much more UV resistant than nylon mono too.
