Buy any Van Staal (VS) reel at Fisherman’s Headquarters “Fish Heads” (FH) and receive an additional two years of warranty protection — one year from VS plus TWO years on us.

FHVS Extended Warranty Program Details

VS offers a one (1) year manufacturer’s warranty on spinning reels from the date of original retail purchase. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials. It applies only to the original owner and requires a dated sales receipt. VS reserves the right to repair or replace the reel at its discretion.

Exclusive to FH Customers

When a VS reel is purchased from FH (in-store or online at FishermansHeadquarters.com ), the original purchaser receives an additional two (2) years of warranty coverage at no additional charge, extending total coverage to three (3) years from the date of purchase.

To qualify, the reel must be registered with FH at the time of purchase or within 30 days. Coverage applies only to VS reels purchased from FH.

Coverage & Service Requirements

During the FH extended warranty period, FH will, at its discretion, repair or replace the reel at no charge for covered defects. All warranty eligibility determinations are made solely by FH.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, corrosion, or reels that have been altered or modified. The warranty is void if service or repairs are performed by anyone other than FH, the exclusive VS service center for the FHVS Extended Warranty coverage.

Limitations

All incidental and consequential damages are excluded. Implied warranties are limited to the duration of this warranty. Some state laws may not allow certain limitations, so these exclusions may not apply to all purchasers.

This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by FH. FH reserves the right to modify or amend this warranty at any time.
