LBI Boat Ramps
Long Beach Island and the surrounding area has a number of municipal boat ramps. Please check with each municipality for their fees. Here is a list of the local boat ramps from north to south...
Barnegat Light: 10th Street on the bay. Great quick and close access to Barnegat Inlet as well as close proximity to Oyster Creek Channel and Double Creek Channel
Harvey Cedars: West 75th Street at Kinsey Cove. Good for small skiffs looking to focus on the back bay waters for crabbing and fishing. The ramp is away from the busy Ship Bottom or Barnegat Light areas.
Surf City: Division Street on the bay. Very close to the shop at the heart of LBI. In season the ramp is outfitted with a floating dock. Great for boats looking to explore the bay. A long boat ride to either inlet.
Ship Bottom: 10-12th Street on the bay at Ship Bottom's Waterfront Park. Large parking area with a fishing/crabbing pier/dock and a small playground. This area can be very busy especially in the summer months and on weekends. This ramp is only a block away from the store.
Beach Haven: 9th Street on the bay at the Taylor Ave Waterfront Park (behind Schooner's Wharf). Large parking area. The southern most public boat ramp on Long Beach Island.
