Trailhead Tire Deflators are quick, accurate and easy to use tire deflators? Trailhead Deflators are great for airing down quick before driving on soft sand beaches. Tire deflators are a must have for every surfcaster that drives the beach and Trailheads are the best tire deflator for the job. Trailhead Tire Deflators are proudly made in the USA from anodized aluminum and are fully adjustable/present (see image at right) from 5-20 PSI via allen wrench which is provided. Trailhead Deflators are easy to use. Simply screw one on to your tires valve stem.
Trailhead Automatic Tire Deflators will automatically reduce the air pressure in a tire to a predetermined level and stop, preventing any further loss of air from the tire. They will function properly whether your vehicle is stationary or traveling at speeds of 20 mph or less. In order for deflators to reliably begin operation, tires must be inflated to a pressure approximately twice the set point, e.g.: If the deflators are set to shut off at 10 psi, tires must be inflated to approximately 20 psi or greater.

If you are traveling too fast while turning with partially deflated tires you may pull a tire's seal off of it's wheel. You will instantly lose all the air in that tire, which may result in your vehicle rolling over or going out of control, causing DEATH, BODILY INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. The dangers of traveling with partially deflated tires are NOT LIMITED TO THIS EXAMPLE! You are completely responsible for your own safety and the safety of those with you. The user assumes any liability for incidental damage, injury or inconvenience to property or persons (including flat tires) as a result of use or misuse of this product.
